It was great to hear from you, Kent. Sorry you can't make it back. I spoke to
Gerry Bowers a couple of weeks ago - he is not on our email exchange group -
and he was asking about you. He recalled the nickname we had for you, as well
as nicknames for most everyone else.

Who can forget stacking lockers in addition to being placed upon a fountain?
The education at PHS was a good one and I'm sure we all made some life-long
friends, Buzz being one of them. I look at my kids now that I'm a grandfather
(2 times) and am thankful that they got through high school without getting
into drugs and they both graduated from college (University of Tampa) on the
same day (yes, it was expensive). The worst (best?) thing we had was beer and
going out to the strip mines in Ron Voss's car and going swimming while
consuming a cold beverage or three. I remember thinking Ron and Char would get
married and stay that way forever and I don't know if they got married or not.
I survived Vietnam and wonder how many of my classmates didn't? I've been to
the Wall when I was doing some consulting in D.C. and cried for those that I
knew didn't make it and those that I didn't know.
I'm retiring in September of this year and my wife of 36 years and I are taking
off. We have a 36' Sailboat and we will be somewhere in the Caribbean most of
the time when were not back in Florida checking on the grandkids.
Unfortunately I will not be able to make to the reunion as I am traveling on
business and I just can't make it happen. I wish happiness and a long life to
all and my thoughts will be with all of you.
