They're telling me it's out of business Susie. But Keithley and several others
say there is Hometown Buffet at 5100 N. Big Hollow Road. I'm figuring
regardless of what happens at Aggi's it isn't going to be enough. I figured a
buffet, especially one that doesn't do much business (no one's really going to
eat anyway, right?) but has lots of room would make a good place to hold court.
I'm sure once court adjourns, recommendations for wine and beer places will
abound.
By the way ... does anyone know of an Internet Cafe in Peoria? If I can get to
one, I can add pictures as the reunion develops and post late breaking
information.

Todd,
I think that is called the Country Pantry Buffet? It is in one of those strip
shopping areas where Target is, I believe, and just across the road from
Sheridan Village. I may have eaten there once years ago. That's a good
possibility, too. I'm now on the over-flow list for Aggi's, so perhaps it's a
good idea to start a second option. My guess is there is no wine or beer there,
but American iced tea is good. And there may be more that will like the idea of
this Buffet -- perhaps it will encourage more people to do the pre-reunion
jump. Perhaps one of these Peoria people can give us the exact name of this
restaurant.
Larry, with your over-flow count, and the uncertainty that more can get in,
perhaps this is a good idea to have another option. And with this one, we don't
have to worry about numbers, I think.
Todd, let's go with it, and encourage more to join us there.
Cheers,
Susie
