Patty and Terry,

What do you mean, that no one remembers you!! Patty, you had short hair, I think with a natural wave in it, and a winning smile (do I remember braces at one point?) And I remember seeing you at the PHS all-school reunion.

I also ran into you; Patty, at a Wal-Mart perhaps, buying socks to send to your daughter for a Valentine's present -- I think it was her first year at college?

I must admit I was rather surprised that you two were together, but who can really tell what turns one on. And Terry, you were the Treasurer of our senior class, and I was the Secretary -- not that we did anything much!

And I certainly now want to know why you always pronounced Fuchs as Fox -- yes, living in Germany, I know that the translation of Fuchs is fox. Our daughter married a Fuchs, definitely with a German pronunciation, and was incensed when someone said, "You aren't taking his name, are you?!?!!!!!" Silly insinuations many years ago, huh?!

Your idea sounds great, too. If others agree, can we help by bringing something to eat? Mind you, some of us are from out of town, but you can designate what to bring, and let people be creative.

Terry, do you remember meeting me in Washington, Ill., at Susan's Tea Room, when I was having lunch with Pam Bogan Edwards? That may have been the last time I have seen Pam, and it would be great if she were to attend the reunion. If she isn't signed up yet, could you phone her? Pam and Robert Edwards, living in Lake of the Woods -- I think you lived close to her?

Thank you for the generous invitation, and I am all for accepting.

Cheers,
Susie
