Ray, et al:
That basketball team was a great one....no doubt about it. I remember that
tickets to the game in Champaign could be had only by season ticket holders.
I had a season ticket, but my folks wouldn't let me go. So I let Mike
McCord "borrow" my season ticket so that he could go. It wasn't long after
that when I was called in to see Harvey Tucker. He held up my season ticket
and said, "Where do you suppose I got this?" Don't know why I remember
that....
Ray....speaking of Miss Swisher, do you remember the way she would twist the
top button on her blouse as she said, "How about the next one......Ray?"
Do you remember how Miss Rice would give you an automatic A if you memorized
the first 50 line of the Canterbury Tales? Or an automatic F if you had a
comma splice, run-on sentence, or sentence fragment?
Which Turkey Day game was it when it was so bone-chilling cold. I've never
been that cold again.
Was the other Biology teacher Miss Kinhofer? I remember her complaining
that our bread was too soft.
Todd, Judy Quine was in my home room. She married Bill Voelker. I can't
remember who my home room teacher was, however.
Keep the memories coming........
