To all - Mary and I would like to share our memories with you, but please realize how old we are and excuse us for not remembering nearly everything. We both look forward to spending time with everyone to fill in those missing memories.
- Throwing pennies in study hall with Spandy Parks and Norm Dial.
- Detentions and Norm ending up with fifty after tearing four slips of increasing numbers up in front of Mr. Suffield who was writing fevorishly.
- Walking around the hall before homeroom and looking at Gary Sulaski's left nut hanging out of his shorts in a group that won an intermural baketball championship. Why would they leave that up and is it still there?
- Sleeping in some classes.
- Being a "hard guy" my freshman and sophmore years, having the distinction of being the only guy in advaced classes to wear jeans and sleeves rolled up on my short sleeved shirt. Mrs. Herke loved that.
- Sitting behind Mary in English and falling in love.
- We didn't have guns or drugs, but I think we did have gays, not that there was anything wrong with that. Back then, being gay meant one was happy. I think several of our teachers were more than happy: Herr Graham (for sure), Larry Harris (rumored), Sharon Traylor (the name makes him suspicious), and maybe others. Anyway, back then it was all harmless as I remember.
- Having lunch at Kidder's, the hamburgers were great, but I had to miss the pie in the cafeteria. I smoked back then a little and convinced my mom the smell was from all the other guys. Fortunately, Mary and I have quit for a long time.
- Sitting on the bench during baseball games with Dave Weisert, Rocky Carter, Roger Bumgartner, Larry Rager, Lee Marshall, and others was great.
- Being on the football team and those memories make all of my current aches and pains worth it.

Bruce

I remember my high school years as filled with fun and pretty great people, teachers and students alike. I remember being in Mr. Mills black (bat-mobile like) cadallic. He and Mrs. Mills were driving a group of us to a basketball game and they sang 'Let Me Call You Sweetheart" to each other and I remember thinking how sweet they both were. I loved going to the REC after games, the bonfire on homecoming weekend our freshman year (I don't recall it after that) and just an overall time of innocence and pretty wonderful times. We were all raised in a golden era and I am sorry our grandchildren will never feel the feelings we did. I can hardly wait to see everyone.

Mary..
