Hi Todd:

This is Greg Rushford again. I think I'm going to come to the reunion. What's the von Mises site all about? Are you connected to free-trade economics? Wouldn't surprise me, as Peoria is a wonderful economic model of the benefits of trade.

Will send a photo separately. For the biography, all you have to say is: I'm editor of the Rushford Report (www.RushfordReport.com), which is a monthly Washington, D.C.-based newsletter on the politics of international trade. My interest in foreign affairs was sparked by the late Nicholas Nyaradi, a neighbor and friend in Peoria who founded the international studies school at Bradley. I had no idea when I worked on the Peoria High School newspaper that someday I'd end up as a journalist. I've been married since 1971; my wife Lucy is a native of the Philippines who is recently retired as a World Bank staff member. We have two grown children; son David is a young lawyer with an American firm in London; Kathy is with a dot.com in Boston that hasn't (yet) failed. Lucy is particular eager to attend the August 17 PHS reunion, to check out any old girlfriends. I haven't told her that I was such a nerd that there weren't any.

Cheers,

Greg
