To all -

For me the reunion was absolutely terrific, a wonderful experience I will always cherish. With all the hype of our emails, I feared that reunion reality might be a letdown, and I had convinced myself that some time with a few friends would be more than enough to get out of the weekend. But it was far more than that, and though I wish we had had considerably more time (yes!), I would not mess with success. There is something magical and very comfortable about being with those who shared earlier days.

FYI, my vote is a 3 yr return schedule, which might maintain better continuity and feel a little less like a one-shot deal. It might also be a boon for those who were unable (or reluctant) to attend, and may now feel disappointed at having missed something great.

Thanks to all for something so meaningful.

Gary

I just returned from a fabulous weekend of fun and recollection with a great group of wonderful people. Sounds too good to be true but there's no other description I can think of (and Sharon is editing this note!). Marilynn's earlier note had a few ?? after "It was a great weekend" and also a few !! I can only say to her that the ?? should be replaced with alot more !!!! From the Aggi's group to the Fuchs' group to the tour group to the Mt Hawley gathering, (and yes Sandi, even the Dunkin' Donuts nightcap) the whole weekend was just fantastic. For those that couldn't make it for whatever reason, you'll just have to wait five years-no longer I hope-to "Catch The Spirit" !! The memory interchange email train may slow considerably, but given Laraine's current distibution list, there is no excuse not to correspond selectively. I intend to keep her distribution list in my computer! memory and hopefully crank up the engine again in about four 1/2 years or so. Trust everyone had a safe trip home and a smile/chuckle in their minds and hearts about PHS '62!!

Dave

P.S. A special thanks to Laraine for all you did to make this occasion special-you are a true jewel!!
