What a surprise to find over 200 emails on my computer when I came home from vacation. It has been great fun reading all of the emails from the class of '62. Freshman year was the most memorable year for me because high school was a whole new scene. Someone mentioned Mr. Bockwitz, our algebra teacher. I remember he used to pound on the blackboard where a student was working a problem and declare that he wished he had brought his flashlight to school because it would be dark by the time the student got the problem right and he would need the flashlight to find his way home. Also, Miss Fieselman, our English teacher, who required her students to stand up beside their desks to answer questions. When I was a freshman, I thought the seniors were the greatest people alive. They had it all together.
