Last night I sent this message. However, I think that only Laraine got it. I did not completely read her directions. BAD STUDENT. However, the invitation remains.

Just ten minutes ago I was making the bed after last week's three guests. Doing so, I thought about Peoria Central alumni who might also enjoy a visit to Chicago without the high summer hotel rates.

I have a second floor guest room, double bed with TV, no remote, AC and with fan, available to those who would like convenient access to the Loop for no longer than a week.

The train is available down the hill about a 10-15 minutes walk, depending upon your gait, beginning at 5:30 AM. The train arrives from 107th Street at the LaSalle Street Station (LaSalle and VanBuren) in 30 minutes. Return trains are available until 12:30 AM.

If you would like to take advantage of an additional trip to one of the most beautiful cities of the world, one I cannot envisage ever moving from, visit me through this wonderful PHS e-mail community, or call me at 773-239-4605.

I live on the media-loathed south side of Chicago, in the wonderful Beverly neighborhood. Check out the photo of my home on Todd's web site. If you're a stranger to the city and if you wish, I may also be your personal Loop travel guide.

Welcome to Chicago!
