Thanks for your honesty and for bringing us down to earth a bit. Maybe we were
a great class and I agree those were great times, but we forget the social
pressure we felt as teenagers and the extreme importance of being popular.
Along with this went the exclusivity of our little groups that was most present
and often most cruel during our high school years. Of course, I remember you,
not as Don, but as Donnie, in the way I remember all my grade school
classmates. I see you all from our fourth grade pictures taken on the west
steps of Calvin Coolidge - many of us boys wearing T-shirts with our hair
sticking up. See you at our Calvin Coolidge tour on Saturday at 3:00.
