No!
Fordy Anderson was the coach during the scandal year 1950 and I think he
announced that he was going to Michigan State in '52 or '53 (during an
important playoff--probably the 1952 NCAA). Chuck Orsborne was Chet's and Bobby
Joe Mason's coach with Joe Stole as Freshman Coach and assistant. Chet
graduated in 1962 and Chuck Orsborne was kicked upstairs (Athletic Director) in
1964 (end of my/our sophmore year).
Fordy Anderson and Bradley's All American Center (Paul Unruh) were the only
people on the Bradley team (1950) that weren't involved in the point shaving
scandal. Unruh was a minister's son and the team didn't think he would go for
it and I guess Fordy Anderson was considered a real straight arrow.
I made my first one tube radio set in the mid fifties so that I could listen to
Bradley games. My folks came from Decatur which won many Illinois high school
basketball titles. They gave me a passion for music and basketball. In fact my
mom had Lee Utt as one of her second grade students in Decatur, so they
followed Bradley Ball.
If I'm wrong sue me and please feel free to correct me.
Dave B.

Dave,...and Dave, I don't remember too much re Fogelburg, but I think that
Forrest "Fordy" Anderson was the basketball coach at Bradley when
Chet Walker was there? History buffs correct me if I'm wrong. Dave P.S. on a
much sadder note, I assume all have now heard of Chick Hearn's passing.
